Privacy Policy
Effective October 8, 2026
This policy explains how Matthew Adams handles information for Event Shutter event photography, photo galleries, and photo delivery text messages.
Information used
Depending on the service a guest uses, information may include a name, email address, mobile number, event or photo-order association, purchased photos and gallery link, SMS consent or opt-out status, and message delivery records.
How information is used
Information is used to associate photo purchases with galleries, deliver requested photo links by email or text, honor text opt-outs, answer support requests, and operate and protect the photo delivery service. The text program is for transactional photo delivery and is not used for marketing or promotional messages.
Service providers and sharing
Service providers, including Twilio for text messages and Cloudflare for hosting and related storage, may process information as needed to operate the service. Email service providers may process information to deliver requested photo links.
Event or venue staff do not receive guests’ phone numbers or email addresses through this photo service. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data or consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared for other purposes, except as needed by messaging providers to deliver and operate the text service.
Retention
Photo galleries, photos, and associated guest contact information are kept for 14 days after the event and then deleted. SMS consent and opt-out preferences are used to administer the text program and honor guest choices.
Your choices
Guests may request correction or deletion of information by emailing hauntphotos@gmail.com. Guests may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Guests who do not opt in to texts can receive their photo link by email.
Security
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
